Special Note: As commercial specialists we do not engage in traditional Family Service Photography.

Photographing Weddings, High School Seniors and Children are specialties in and of themselves. Since we specialize in Advertising and Commercial Product Illustration we have elected to leave Family Services to those who are specialists in those areas and better suited to meet your family’s needs. We do provide Illustrative and Executive Portraiture Services for our Commercial and Adult clientele.

Digital Photo Editing

BHS provides a full range of Digital Photo Editing services to meet all of your Photographic applications.

A full compliment of image corrections and enhancements are possible. Corrected images can also be written for Film Recorder output creating a negative for use with traditional photographic processes.

Special Note: For best results, a quality, first-generation original will help insure optimum color fidelity and image sharpness.

Traditional or Digital?

We are often asked whether or not we employ the use of digital cameras to create our photographic illustrations. To be quite honest, there are currently very few digital formats that can rival the results derived from high quality optics and Kodak Professional film stock.

With the exception of computer generated images and web graphics all of our photographic imagery is created through conventional means then digitally scanned and edited.

Digital cameras are great for a number of applications. While the image quality afforded by digital cameras is on the rise, the vast majority currently can not meet the large resolution requirements called for by film recorders and professional offset color printing presses. We have found that use of traditional Medium and Large format cameras coupled with high quality digital image scanning is still the best approach for achieving professional results.

Digital Support Services

All of our Digital Support Services are available on an independent basis. To facilitate file transfers we support all CD &    DVD formats, as well as SyQuest and
I-Omega Removable Hard Drives for both Macintosh and PC Platforms. FTP Transfers are made available upon request.
